More than a Decade of Proven Success
As the first licensed Continuing Care Retirement Community in the state of Louisiana, we are proud to look back on the rewarding lifestyle we have offered residents for more than a decade. A key element of this lifestyle is the dedicated Christwood staff, which provides maintenance-free living so residents are able to do what they want when they want. You may decide to take a relaxing stroll and savor colorful azaleas and hummingbirds against the backdrop of Christwood's traditional architecture; stop at our gazebo or take advantage of our fishing pond; join a Bridge game or take in a lecture. No matter what you choose to do, at the end of each satisfying day, you can come home to your beautifully decorated apartment that reflects your individual taste and style.
Long-term Security at a Great Value
Best of all, you have the security of knowing Christwood is a continuing care community. Continuing care encourages a healthy lifestyle today while providing a plan for the future that helps protect against rising health care costs. As a Christwood resident, you have access to wellness programs, The Arbor, our assisted living community and our on-site Health Center for skilled nursing care, if needed, at a tremendous value.
Christwood offers several different living options including one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and 18 stand-alone cottages. In addition, an expansion is currently underway which will include 24 new Atrium Apartments, offering two different floor plans and as much as 1,400 sq.ft.
Continuing care at Christwood also includes a choice of two entrance fee plans so you can choose the one that best suits your lifestyle. One of these options is a Return-of-Capital™ Plan that refunds 80% of your entrance fee to you or your estate.
Entrance fees start at $130,175 and monthly fees begin at $1,817.
