COVID-19 – Coronavirus Update
At The Community Center, our goal is to operate in a way that ensures the health and safety of our members, residents, staff members and guests. Specifically, as relates to COVID-19, we have no suspected cases and no one currently showing symptoms on campus. Rest assured Christwood continues to closely follow the recommended guidelines from federal, state and local agencies as well as monitoring the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for news and developments.
Again, while we have no suspected cases of COVID-19 on our campus at this time, health officials are especially concerned because the disease is being spread from person to person and there is no vaccine to prevent infection. Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to suspend classes and temporarily close the Community Center, effective at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, 3/14/2020 and will reopen when changes in this situation will allow us to do so. Memberships will be placed on an immediate, temporary freeze until the Community Center reopens.
We will keep you updated with new information as it becomes available and it is our hope that each of you stays well until we are together again. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Randy Becnel, Wellness Director
