art on the walls of the atrium gallery

Paulo Dufour

Dufour says his art “reflects his perception of the world surrounding him.” His most recent work features the shadows of trees, plants, animals and objects merging into allegorical themes.

The son of artist and LSU professor Paul Dufour, he has exhibited throughout the United States and Europe. From his studio in St. Tammany Parish, he creates glass projects and paintings for a variety of clients, galleries, and invitational museum exhibits.

He retired after teaching art in the St. Tammany Parish School System for some twenty-five years and now describes himself as “an aspiring artist trying to make up for lost time.”

Dufour holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from LSU and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California.
