Immerse yourself in fine art.

With a fireside lobby and café, the Atrium Gallery offers an inviting space to view contemporary art from regional artists. Exhibits rotate throughout the year and open with a reception featuring live music and refreshments. Always free and open to the public, we invite you to stop by and see the latest exhibition. Open Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Christwood encourages residents to work together to help shape and improve our community. Residents serve on the Christwood Board of Directors, the Resident Council, and on the Pastoral Care, Hospitality, Recycling, and Communications Committees, providing opportunities to work with the administrative team to help make Christwood the best it can be. From helping new residents become acclimated to planning events and organizing interest groups, resident committees foster collaboration, promote transparency, and strengthen community.

What is a Life Plan Community or Continuing Care Retirement Community?

Life Plan Communities, also known as Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), offer seniors an active, independent lifestyle along with a plan for care whenever needed. At Christwood, residents have access to a full continuum of care on campus, including companion and personal care, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation.

Is Christwood a not-for-profit community?

Yes, Christwood is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) community and, as such, our top priority will always be doing what’s right for the people who live here. All “profits” are reinvested back into the community for the benefit of residents.

Is smoking allowed on the Christwood campus?

Yes, but only in designated smoking areas so non-smokers aren’t exposed to second-hand smoke. To learn more about designated smoking areas on campus, please refer to our smoking policy.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, Christwood welcomes your well-behaved furry or feathered friends to join you. After all, pets are part of your family, too. Plus, Fido and Fifi will want to sniff out our walking trails and dog park.
