Everything we do at Christwood is designed to support the health and well-being of residents. But if your health needs change, you won’t have to go far for the care you need.
For checkups and routine medical care, you’ll have access to a primary care clinic on-site. And since Christwood is the area’s only not-for-profit Life Plan Community, you’ll also enjoy priority access to a full continuum of care on campus, including assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation. Knowing you have a solid plan in place with LifeCare provides peace of mind for both you and your family.
Personal and companion care is also available in the privacy of your apartment or cottage on a fee-for-service basis. For those who are not already residents of Christwood, direct admission to higher levels of care is accepted when space is available.

Vieux Care: On-site Health Clinic
Our on-site wellness clinic offers a convenient option for independent living residents to receive direct primary care. Dr. Carin Sanchez and Dr. Mary Anderson provide routine primary care, EKGs, small skin lesion removal, laceration repairs, and more on a fee-for-service basis. Additional services include:

- Discounted radiology services

The memory care neighborhood at Christwood offers a safe, supportive environment for residents living with memory loss. With just 29 private suites, residents receive the personal attention they need from dedicated caregivers trained in dementia care.

When you need to recover from surgery, injury, or a serious medical condition, short-term rehabilitation can help you reach your goals and get back to the life you love. At Christwood, we offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy on our campus in a comfortable, healing environment.
